Phase 1 - Ventura Promenade

The first phase of Boogie Nights will be at the oceanfront Ventura Beach promenade taking place 8 consecutive Wednesdays (except July 3rd) from May 22nd - July 17th. July 3rd is an off-week. The Start / Check-In location is at the bottom of California Street between Aloha Steakhouse and Crowne Plaza. Check-In will begin at 5:15pm.

The second phase will be on the trails of Ventura's Arroyo Verde Park and consists of 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings from July 24th to August 14th. The start/check-in location is in the middle of the park.

Why?

The idea behind the event is to get fun and hard weeknight workout in and then socialize after with friends and family while raising money for the Buena High School cross country program.

When?

The 5K (3.1 miles) will start at 6:15pm.

The Free Kids Run (~3/4ths of a mile) will start at 6:00pm.

The first eight weeks (May 22nd - July 17th) will start on the Ventura Promenade by Aloha Steakhouse. The last 4 weeks (July 24th - August 14th) will take place at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura.

Parking

Phase 1: We recommend that runners park in the Free City of Ventura parking lot on Santa Clara St between California St and Chestnut. You will then walk straight down California St towards the ocean. The Start/Finish location is on the Promenade between Aloha Steakhouse and Crowne Plaza. There is also paid parking directly off Harbor Blvd. just East of Crowne Plaza as well as under the pier. If you eat at one of the Promenade restaurants (Aloha Steakhouse. C-Street Cafe, Eric Ericssons) after the race you can get parking validated for free.

Phase 2: You should be able to park directly at Arroyo Verde Park. If the lot is full you can park on the nearby streets and walk into the park.
